TPA-11/440 computer

Taking advantage of the successes and lessons learned from the TPA-11 family of computers, during the 1980s the KFKI Measurement and Computing Research Institute(KFKI MSZKI) started to develop 16 and 32-bit computers based on LSI technology on two lines, which are related to the high-speed 32-bit synchronous bus system (Xbus).

On the 16-bit line, the PDP-11/44 computer was the model, but only software-level compatibility was sought; the TPA-11/440 (pictured) is a completely separate hardware development.
